Navigating the Edit Proposal Screen
The Edit Proposal screen in ETB Developer provides you with a comprehensive view of all the details related to your proposal. This article will guide you through the different sections of the Edit Proposal screen and explain how you can manage and edit your proposal details effectively.
Side Navigation
On the left side of the Edit Proposal Page, you will see a drawer-style menu. This menu contains the following:
Designs
With designs, you can create many different versions of a proposal that you can present to your customer. To add a design click the ‘Add New Design’ button in the side menu. In Designs you can find the following portlets:
General Information
At the top section of the design, you will find all the General Information related to your design. This includes the proposal name, design name, design date, tax details, and other customer-specific information. To edit any of these details, simply click on the blue text, and you will be able to modify the information as needed.
Meter Details
In the Meter Details portlet, you can access all the relevant details regarding the meter, rate, PV (Photovoltaic), ESS (Energy Storage System), and incentive information. The title of this portlet will be the name of your meter. If you have multiple meters, the summary name will convert to a drop-down, allowing you to switch between meters.
- Energy Use Profile & Utility Rates: Within the Meter Details section, you can choose the Energy Use Profile you want to apply to the proposal. Additionally, you can add a rate switch if necessary and view the Project Cost details related to utility rates.
- PV System: This section contains all the PV system details for your project, including incentive values applicable to PV. To add a PV Array, click the green '+' button at the top right of this section. Once arrays are added, you can click on any of the blue text to edit the values. To include PV incentives, click the '+' button next to "Cost and Incentives."
- Energy Storage System: Similar to the PV section, the Energy Storage System section includes all the ESS details for your project, including incentive values related to ESS. To add an Energy Storage System, click the green '+' button at the top right of this section. Once storage is added, you can edit the values by clicking on any of the blue text. To add ESS incentives, click the '+' button next to "Cost and Incentives."

Transactions
The Transaction portlet allows you to add and view your transactions related to the proposal. To add a new transaction, click the green '+' button at the top right of the portlet. You can also edit existing transactions by clicking on any of the blue summary links.
Additional Values
At the bottom of the Edit Proposal page, you will see a blue tab. When hovering over this tab, a drawer will open to display additional values like: Project Cost, PV Ratings, ESS Ratings, Annual Usage, Electric Bill Cost, Energy Cost, Demand Cost, Blended $/kWh, and PV Generation. This drawer can be pinned to the screen so it remains open and unpinned hide it.
Manage Documents
In the Manage Documents section of your proposal, you can add documents to each of your designs to print as PDFs or use in a Web Proposal. To add a new document, click the green '+' button at the top right of the Document portlet. You can view the document by clicking the blue 'View Document' link and export to pdf by clicking the blue 'Export to PDF' button inside of the document.
Once you have added your documents, click "Create Web Proposal" in the Web Proposal portlet to publish your documents in a live web proposal.
