Data Structure
Our data structure outlines how we organize and label different types of data within our system. Below is a graphical overview of this structure.
Lead
The Lead is the highest level in the hierarchy and stores essential customer information, including general and contact details. For example, a Lead could represent a customer company such as "Johnson Supply Company."
Contact Log
This log can be used to record each interaction with the customer, allowing you to capture the date, notes, and other relevant details to maintain a comprehensive contact history.
Meter
Meters contain details specific to a Lead’s physical location, such as a particular building or individual meter. A lead can contain an unlimited number of meters.
Energy Use Profile
An Energy Use Profile (EUP) includes data about utility usage, rate schedules, and billing information for a specific meter. Each meter can contain multiple EUPs.
Proposal
A Proposal encompasses one or more designs, along with high-level summary data, documents, and Web Proposals. Users can create unlimited Proposals in a Lead.
Design
Within a Design, users define all project-specific inputs, including system cost, equipment type, and financing options. Multiple Designs can be created in a single Proposal, and each Design may include one or more Meters.
Document
A Document is an output file that presents a Design’s analysis, such as a customer-facing proposal, contract, or internal report. Users can create multiple Documents for each Design.
Web Proposal
A Web Proposal compiles all documents within a proposal, potentially covering multiple Designs in one cohesive web page presentation.
Each data type serves a unique role in organizing and streamlining data within ETB Developer, enabling clear and effective project tracking.
