Create - Transaction Templates
From the 'More' drop-down menu on the top navigation, users can select ‘View all Transaction Templates.’ This will bring you to a table of all transaction templates. On the top right of that table is a green '+ Create Transaction' Button. Click this button to add a new transaction template.
In the initial ‘Create Transaction Template’ window, you will select a 'Transaction Template Category' and a 'Transaction Template'. You can also select 'Create Blank Transaction Template' by clicking on the blue button in the bottom left corner to build a transaction from scratch. Selecting a transaction template will copy/duplicate that transaction. The new name will be the identical name with a “ – Copy” after the name. From there, the user can make any edits to the transaction on the ‘Edit Transaction Template’ screen.
All transactions can be modified or “customized” to fit the financial needs of the project. There is no limit to the amount of custom transactions that can be created and held within your Energy Toolbase Account.
Types of Transaction Template:
Cash Transactions: Basic Cash Purchase transactions will not require any additional information, but we can create virtually any type of Cash variation. Please consult your account manager for more details.
Loan Transactions: Below, you will see the required fields for a basic loan Transaction:
The check boxes will determine whether interest will be deductible on the State and Federal Levels or not. To show the effects of this, you will need to model this project as an “after-tax” proposal to show the project's tax effects on the cash flow.

Lease Transactions: Below, you will see the required fields for a basic lease transaction:
The check boxes will determine which categories of Incentives selected within the specific proposal will be passed on to the customer.

PPA Transactions: Below, you will see the required fields for a basic PPA Transaction:

Adding Transactions to Proposals:
You can add up to four transactions into one proposal and multiple variations of the same transaction type or four different transaction types.
