Does ETB recommend which utility rate schedule option my customer is eligible to switch to, and/or find the best rate?

We do not. The reason is that we don’t have enough information to determine which rate option(s) your customer is or is not eligible for. Rate schedule applicability rules can be nuanced, and we don’t want to assume the liability of making rate switching recommendations that you show to host customers. The user is responsible to confirm the eligibility of any “New” rate option they present to their customer. ETB is responsible to accurately calculate the avoided cost math based on the “Current” and “New” rate schedule the user defines. Users can reference the applicability statement taken directly from the utility rate tariff, on the ‘General Info’ tab of the Utility Rate database record.
