Create a Meter

A Meter contains info specific to a physical location.  When you create a new Lead, we automatically add a Meter for that lead, named “Meter #1”. You can edit the Meter name or create a new Meter from the ‘Edit Lead’ screen.

‘Energy Use Profiles’ are stored underneath ‘Meters.’ You can create as many meters you want under a given Lead and as many ‘Energy Use Profiles’ as you want under a given ‘Meter.’ However, only one Energy Use Profile can be used per meter when creating a proposal, therefore, if the ‘Energy Use Profile’ is for a separate building or meter, the best practice is to create a separate ‘Meter’ for each ‘Energy Use Profile.’
