Overview of Leads

A ‘Lead’ is the highest level of hierarchy in our data structure. Underneath a ‘Lead’ you can create an unlimited amount of ‘Meters,’ ‘Energy Use Profiles,’ ‘Proposals’ or ‘Documents.’ A lead is a person or business who may eventually become a client, and here is where data that identifies an entity as a potential customer will be entered. If you do not intend to use ETB as a CRM and instead are using a separate CRM software for lead tracking, feel free to consider a lead more as you would an “opportunity.”
