Rate Schedules: rate schedules contain all types of information about a specific utility rate tariff. There are currently more than 63,000 global rates in our rates database across 1200+ utility territories, which spans across all 50 states and 42 international territories. This rates database is maintained by our in-house utility rates team who is available to assist our users in creating new custom rate tariffs.

Energy Toolbase has a standardized user interface across the entire rates database that makes it intuitive for users to breakdown the charge by charge types and attributes of a specific utility rate.

There are two ways for you to create your own utility rate schedules.

• Copy an existing rate schedule
• Create one from scratch

We do recommend using option one because it's easier and less error-prone to find the closest look-alike rate schedule. Note: only users that have this permission can create new rate schedules.
