Procedure:

CPS suggests performing the following to power cycle the battery system:

1. Open the AC and DC disconnects on both inverters.

2. For each battery rack, turn off the power switches on the LG BBMS and LG BPU.

3. Wait 10-15 seconds.

4. For each battery rack, turn on the power switches on the LG BBMS and LG BPU.

5. Close the AC and DC disconnects on both inverters.

6. Wait ~1 minute for inverters to display “Sys.Checking”.

7. Check the Status light on BPU to make sure it is flashing green.

8. On PCS, hit ESC to enter the menu.

9. Navigate to “8 Battery Set” .

10. Hit ENT until the screen shows “Initialing…”

11. Wait 2-3 minutes until the screen shows “Initial Success” or “Initial Failure”.

You should see two battery racks that look similar to below. Each battery rack has its own BPU and BBMS, so you will need to turn two switches off for each battery rack.

The top component is the BPU, and the power switch is located below the Status LED:
