Karbon 300/410: How to Power Cycle
Summary:
There are times when it is necessary to power cycle our ETB Controller hardware, either a Karbon 300 or 410, in order to resolve certain issues. These steps will walk you through the process.
Steps:
- Locate the power Karbon in the ETB cabinet
- Locate the green end of the power cable
- Pull the green end out and away from the Karbon
(if the cable does not come out, check to see if there are screws holding it in that need to be removed) - Wait 30 seconds then plug the cable firmly back into the Karbon. This will automatically initialize the device's startup process.
You can check the lights status on the front of the device for a better understanding of its current state.
*The refresh time in Monitor generally occurs in 15-minute intervals but it may be necessary to wait 30 minutes to ensure the system comes up fully and has started reporting to monitor before leaving the site. * - If you continue having issues or need assistance with this process, notify ETB support with a detailed description of the issue and all troubleshooting steps performed.
