Connecting an eGauge to ETB Monitor
Prerequisite: Make sure your eGauge is compatible with ETB Monitor.
Option 1 - If this is the first eGauge meter you have shared with Energy Toolbase:
- Log in to the eGauge portal.
- Navigate to the portfolio page.
- Click Groups
- Create a Group for Energy Toolbase
- For the Name enter “Energy Toolbase”.
- Select any parent group.
- Click Create Group.
- Add your eGauge to the Energy Toolbase Group
- Navigate to the portfolio page.
- Click the edit icon in the Group column for the eGauge you would like to connect to ETB Monitor.
- Select Energy Toolbase in the Group dropdown.
- Click Submit.
- Let Energy Toolbase know that you are ready to share your eGauge access.
- ETB will need the eGauge login name of the user who manages the Energy Toolbase group of your eGauges.
- Approve Energy Toolbase to access the Energy Toolbase Group of your eGauges.
- Navigate to the permissions page.
- Under the Create Group Permission, you will see a pending request from Energy Toolbase.
- In the Create Group Permissions section, select Energy Toolbase as the User, select Energy Toolbase as the Group, and select Admin as the permission.
- Click Create Permission.
- Let Energy Toolbase know that you have approved ETB access the eGauge.
Option 2 - If you have shared an eGauge with Energy Toolbase before, and are sharing another eGauge:
- Add the new eGauge to the Energy Toolbase Group
- From the portfolio view, click the edit icon in the Group column.
- Select Energy Toolbase in the Group dropdown.
- Click Submit.
- Let Energy Toolbase know that you have added the new eGauge.
